The Dairy has been under the same ownership since 1985 but has been selling organic food for only the last 3-4 years since competition from supermarkets begun to have an effect. We decided rather than trying to compete with them we would do better to be different. We started off with a few organic products, like fresh bread, and have slowly expanded the range to far more than the supermarkets carry.

We have organic wine from all over the world and organic gin, vodka, port and beer. Certain organic lines we sell in bulk out of sacks, like muesli, bran and flour. You can buy as much or as little as you like and it works out cheaper. Our range of cheeses is excellent. Most of them are local and some are organic, bries are very popular coming from Somerset and Cornwall.
