Celia and Norman Brend would like to welcome you to their family run riding stables which are open all year round. Bold Try has about twenty horses and ponies from Thelwell to Throughbred. They all do a variety of jobs from hacking through the rolling Devon countryside to improving rider's skills in the outdoor school. We also offer an extended hack called the T-ride. These usually last about three hours and include a picnic tea in the breathtakingly beautiful Eggesford Forest, either by a stream or in a shady area. Here, one can catch sight of the abundant local wildlife that includes deer, foxes and buzzards.
