A pleasant afternoon walk through woods, meadows, riverside and open uplands with panoramic views across the Taw valley and Dartmoor in the distance. So try and choose a day when the visibility will be good. Although there are a few awkward spots, generally the walking is not hard. In a few places the ground can be muddy or boggy, but most of the time the surface is good. Distance, approx 5 miles (or 3.5 miles for the shorter route)Time, 2-2.5 hours for the full walk.
