Sue and Dave welcome you to this Free House in the heart of Chulmleigh Village. They offer two bars which will suit all customers - locals and tourists alike. The lower bar has a pool table and juke box for the younger clientelle with an open fire and the upper bar has soft background music, open fire and a cosy restaurant.

All the food is homemade and all tastes are deliciously catered for, including children. Always popular, it is recommended that you book. There is also an exstensive wine list.

The Globe Inn has recently been refurbished and in the summer you can sit outside underneath the dazzling display of hanging baskets. In winter, take away the chill with their rare whiskies in front of a roaring fire, or even a nice cup of tea!

Sue and Dave aim to please and nothing is too much trouble. they offer bed and breakfast and well behaved family pets are welcome.

If you are a tourist you will want to return again and again. The locals that have settled in Chulmleigh are from far and wide. This says a lot about the charm of Chulmleigh with it's breathtaking views, fabulous walks and community spirit that has all but been forgotten in so many other places.
